Our precious gift from God is 4 today!!! It so hard to believe!! My alarm went off at 5:15 this morning so I could go to the gym and swing by the grocery store to pick up some last minute stuff for the big day. I changed into my so-called workout clothes and headed into the kitchen and who comes around the corner?!?! You guessed it - the birthday boy! "Mom, you're making my cake!?!?" I'm like "Uh, no - going to the gym". I picked him up - barely (he weighed 56 pounds the other day at the dentist's) - and gave him a big squeeze and kisses and wished him a happy birthday. Then I put him into bed w/ his Daddio to snuggle and the first thing I hear is "DAD, you're supposed to tell me Happy Birthday!!!" Today, every time some one wished him a Happy Birthday he'd say - "Happy Birthday to you too"!! Such a sweet, sweet boy! More on the big day tomorrow!!
I love that birthday boy! I'll try to call him again later. Gift is on it's way.
