You Can't Pinch Him

Those of you that know me well - know that I have been blessed w/the gift of procrastination! So, with that in mind ya'll will understand when I say that I was very proud of myself when I purchased a St. Patrick's Day shirt for Nolan this past Monday. It's nothing real great but it is a shirt that he could wear to school next week. Or so I thought: as I walked him into his classroom this morning, the teachers were handing out cool green hats and necklaces w/ clovers on them. Honestly, I was kinda of taken aback and slightly confused - worried that I missed a few days somehow! Which really wouldn't have surprised any of you, I'm sure!! The teachers could tell from the puzzled look on my face that I was a little confused so they politely reassured me that I didn't lose the rest of my mind and that they decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day today since - wait for it, wait for it........ next week is Spring Break!! Shew - I hadn't totally lost it! I was disappointed that Nolan didn't have his brand new shirt on but as we all looked at him - his teacher informed us that she wasn't concerned that he wouldn't have green on - seeing that he just LUVS his John Deere shirts!!
